Backhands: spinniest to flattest

Obviously one and two handers are judged together.

Nadal has got a lasso-whip forehand, and his backhand might be the spinniest as well considering how much he moonballs it nowadays. But then again that might just be open-racket-face moonballs.

Rank some pro's in terms of the spin of their backhands from spinniest to flattest. I think Gasquet's backhand is up there.

Re: Backhands: spinniest to flattest

Federer can hit brilliant spinny acute angled shots from his backhand side to open up the court.

Re: Backhands: spinniest to flattest

One of his best ever backhand performances was in last years WTF final against Nadal.

Davydenko's backhand can be one of the flattest and one of the spinniest

Federer's framed bh are the spinniest and Soderling's are the flattest.

It's difficult to rank, but here's my shot of the top 10.

Djokovic
Federer
Nadal
Monfils
Ferrer
Soderling
Tsonga
Fish
Berdych
Murray

Re: Backhands: spinniest to flattest

Soderlings goes BOOM when he flattens it. And he's not afraid to do it when he get the chance.

Re: Backhands: spinniest to flattest

I think of Robin when you say flat - his backhand is extremely flat!
