Dodig got lucky when Rafael was both not playing well and did not care much. It is not to be expected that he can beat Rafael Nadal reguarly, he just doesn't have the consistancy. one great night with him going for his shots and Nadal playing a bit subpar says less than you make it out to be

I mean, the places between 9-20 are very bad atm, that's my felling at least.
this; you have a great top couple of players but in general the tour is really bad which reflects well upon the top few guys. the era overall is weak, and there is not really much debating that given you NEVER see upsets and you never see lower ranked players win big titles. why? there is no diversity in the field, no threats, and a healthy strong era always has those

I guess will never know the truth, as he will never ever play Nadal again.

Re: Shanghai Masters Draw

It's going to be interesting to see if Nadal can win Tokyo and Shanghai now that Nole is out... If Nadal fails to win these 2 tournaments then it's not just the Nole 2.0 factor this year for him but that he has gone almost full circle in his career and will only win titles on clay which is what he has done this year and that is if he avoids players like Nole 2.0 on clay.

Nadal's draws are always fixed according to MTF. You can have Nadal aganist Davydenko, Del Potro, Nalbandian, Murray, Federer, Djokovic in succession and still the draw will be fixed. This is MTF law.

Re: Shanghai Masters Draw

Rough draw for king david

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

David Nalbandian

Go back and take out 20 grand slams from any masters series draw in any era. It won't look good. I don't know what people expect, when there is domination like Roger, Rafa and Novak over a period of time, if you take two of them out there are only so many more grand slam winners that can play, there are only 4 grand slams a year.

Too many players missing for this to be considered a proper Masters! No Fed! No Soderling ! No Djokovic! no point!

Novak Djokovic [SIZE=6].

6 Australian Opens
1 French Open
3 Wimbledons

Re: Shanghai Masters Draw

This tournament is a farce of a TMS, wish Hamburg was still clay Masters and Madrid was still played at the indoor arena.
