Wimbledon R2: Andreev leads Tomic 6-4 7-5 3-6* play suspended

Whatever happens tomorrow this Tomic is disgrace . Even on grass he is staying 2 meters behind baseline and pushing back . Don't know what people in his team are saying to him but this doesn't lead anywhere . When I see Harrison, Raonic or Dimitrov and after them Tomic , I feel sick

Tomic does seem a little.. outclassed at this level for the time being. Tomorrow will be a test of his fighting capabilities, but regardless he has some way to go to reach ATP level consistency.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Here's a tip. Don't regret nothin'. You ain't got the time. Before you know it, you'll be 60 something years old giving free advice to some cheapskate runt... Then going home and regretting it.

You'd definitely like to see Tomic look a little better against mid-ranked player that hasn't been playing well lately like Andreev. But the kid is a pusher. With the physicality of today's game, you gotta be in really good shape to be able to push your way past a lot of these guys. Most young players just aren't fully physically developed yet so he may struggle for a while yet.

igor was obviously playing a good match but he did have one of his signature melt downs from 2-0 to 2-5 in the 3rd set

i really think the break helps igor more fpr that reason

I very much would like Tomic to turn this. Not because he deserves it but because it's Soderlings next opponent and he deserves an easy R3.

This. The poor guy has had two testing opening round matches and deserves (what should be) a more comfortable win

The A++ Tier: Soderling | Raonic | Hewitt | Dolgopolov | Djokovic | Gasquet | Mahut
The A+ Tier: Murray | Kohlschreiber | Nishikori | Tsonga | Goffin | Berdych | Baghdatis | Karlovic | Baker
The A Tier: Del Potro | Youzhny | Ferrer | Tursunov | Malisse | Saville

LOL! Unless you are saying this because with a 5 setter, the player who wins will be more tired, you are delusional...

If Andreev wins, he won't be shown on TV here. In Australia we have to suffer through Tomug and Hewitt. Either that or low quality streams. Basically they'll be showing some decent matches after these 2 clowns are gone.

You always have Internet to see other matches and with pretty good image quality, IMO. And you should be happy for a countryman of yours, being a huge hope for world tennis, but that's another problem...

Igor should win the fourth set, he was in complete control of the match and then started misfiring. The way Tomic plays, and the fact the grass isn't playing overly quick, makes this a perfect match-up for Andreev.

Tomic still bigger disgrace than Harrison or Dimitrov. One of the 3 is still alive

Paradorn Srichaphan
Kei Nishikori, Donald Young, Somdev Devvarman, Dustin Brown, Steve Johnson, Yannick Maden
Robert Farah, Clement Reix, Alexander Dolgopolov, Nathan Thompson
