Very one sided. The serving is simply amazing.

Still needs to show more from the backhand down the line, otherwise a brilliant performance.

Ah there's the results thread. Took a while

If ever there was a time to say it, it would be now: NID.

Epic leap smash from Fed there at the end. The confidence is flowing.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Boring match, even Roger looked bored.

Two cupcakes down, five more to go.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Who gives a fuck?

OT: Federer is looking good. Djokovic is not beating him on the hallowed turf this year, I'm afraid.

Nice job Roger. That MP smash was just

Adrian exceeded my expectations, he's got a flashy game but he's horribly inconsistent--but he's French so that's no surprise. His volleys and drop shots, when he made them, were lovely today.

Nice to see Roger's parents sitting together (and dressed so nicely ) since his mom usually says she can't bear sitting by his dad because he talks throughout the entire match
