Wimbledon R2: [16] Almagro def. Isner 7-6(3) 7-6(5) 6-7(5) 6-3

Big credit to Mucho for this win. Served huge, returned better than many would have expected, was solid and consistent throughout and controlled all rallies. Isner fought hard the final game, which was his best return game in the match, but overall, he didn't return well enough, wasn't aggressive enough and he got suckered into playing Almagro's game. Good win for the Spaniard, clutch at the end saving two 0-30's on serve at the end of the match.

Last set was 6-3. It's not the first time that you're writing the scoreline wrong.

Very sad that one of them had to win.

*Sad face* Well.. done.. Alm..agro. Ugh..

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Good riddance.
Isner makes Roddick look like Santoro.

Can't believe Almugro lost in the first round of Roland Garros, but does well here.

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....

Isner + fast court = might as well sit on his chair for the return games.

Helps Fed. No Isner. Would have loved to see 7-6 7-6 6-7 6-7.

Unexpected result on "grass".

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Isner not just lost to Mugro on grass but also had no BP's.

whats most impressive(depending on how you look at it) is that isner did not have 1 break point the entire matchg

now thats either shows how good almagro was..or how pathetic isner is
