Talking Agassi qualifies for Masters Cup...

this is nice...

Agassi Reaches Masters Cup

Andre Agassi has become the second player to qualify for this season's Masters Cup.

The veteran American joins Lleyton Hewitt in the end-of-season finale in Shanghai, China.

This year's Champions Race is the closest so far, and with only six weeks of the season remaining just 55 points separate third and ninth.

Hewitt leads the way with 690 points, while Agassi has 554 and third-placed Marat Safin has 438.

British number one Tim Henman is fourth with 420 points with the Spanish trio of Juan Carlos Ferrero, Albert Costa and Carlos Moya tied for fifth.

The top seven finishers in the Champions Race qualify for the Masters Cup.

The eighth place goes to the highest-placed Grand Slam winner who finishes between eighth and 20th in the race.

US Open champion Pete Sampras currently holds that position in 12th.

So it is possible (likely) that Pete will take Johannsen's place?

Johansson never had a place really. & fish will fly if Thomas can come back & grab a spot. Sorry Thomas fans.

Go Agassi. i really hope that he can win a big tournament this year. It is too bad that Johansson can't play. What is his point total for the year? anybody?

I am not conceited, I am just convinced.

Costa is in top 7 so he doesnt get the 8th spot

The highest ranked grand slam winner that is between rank 8 and 20 gets it. So Pete and Thomas are the only ones who fit that criteria.

unfortunately the Android can still qualify which pisses me off to no end. where's George Bastl when i need him????? grrrrr.....

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

NO worries TC, maybe costa will fall out of the top 8 - looks quite possible, and Pete will have a bad indoor season.

Or more likely, the baby will come early, Pete won't play, so Costa gets the WC

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.
