Wimbledon R1: Baghdatis def. Blake 6-4 6-2 6-7 (5) 4-6 6-4

Never in doubt.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Hahaha, I was just going to say Baghdatis is the worst player on tour, but Blake is even worse!

The only shame is that both these clowns couldn't lose.

Blake was baked a long, long time ago. Time to hang up the strings.

Re: Wimbledon R1: Baghdatis def. Blake 6-4 6-2 6-7 (5) 4-6 6-4

James proved today he still has a lot of game, so ignoring the haters on this thread, the US HC season could be a very good one for James. He was outplaying and outhitting Baghdatis until *4-3 and then his game faltered. Baghdatis counter-punched well and was dictating more points the first two sets, but the last three he was at the mercy of Blake's power.

James' consistency is even worse now than it was before, but with some matches that hopefully will improve. Grass isn't his surface and he hasn't played in weeks so this is an encouraging scoreline.
