Wimbledon R1: Murray def. Gimeno-Traver 4-6 6-3 6-0 6-0

DGT was excellent for a set and a half, then the great backhand was making more errors. Murray had a relaxing last 2 sets.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

WMB R1: Murray def Gimeno-Traver 4-6, 6-3, 6-0, 6-0

One Hail Mary set by Gimeno-Traver, then Murray resumed normal service. Move along folks, as would be expected, nothing much more to see here

Can't believe he lost a set, he will not win Wimbledon.

Truly pathetic effort from Traver in the last two sets.

Nice Hymen Traver breakdown, that last point summed it up.

I got he's injured but either play it with some effort or don't bother and retire.

Spazzy play for 70 mins, double bagel after the injury. Spazzy match for Muzza

Murray stepped up his game after losing the first set. Daniel was completely controlling play for the first set and a half with the forehand, but his returning and his backhand really aren't good enough at all and then he got injured. He did show flashes, though, so hopefully he can translate that when he returns on clay.

Also hopefully the injury situation won't be an issue for Daniel.

Only two certainties in life: death and Murray not winning a grand slam.

The final two games were perfection from Andy.

3 return winners and an unreturnable return to break. Then an ace, a baseline volley, an unreturnable serve and a cracking point finished by a drop shot on the run to seal the deal. Great stuff.

Great match, great win.

Andy Daniel

Seriously though, Tipsarevic should learn from this.

So he plays on after having a muscle problem he is a mug, then he retires wah wah he should have played out at the match.

Probably should have retired, but DGT took the consequences of the decision.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Some worrying signs for rational Murray fans, once again he looked pretty incapable of wrestling control of a match away from someone playing well and had to instead wait on their level to drop.

Shame about the injury for DGT turning the last 2 sets into a farce, though I guess he at least played it out and didn't bail on the crowd which was nice of him.
