Even in clownish mode Dolgo will win it in straights or 4 max, i think.

They are both players who need to win it quick, which probably means it'll last hours

On paper, Dolgo should clearly win. But you can throw away predictions with these two guys in the state both are in.

I'll say Dolgo in 4 topsy-turvy sets.

Hmm.. Dolgo hasn't been that good lately, but neither has Gonzo. It's a toss up imo. I hope Gonzo, but I have a feeling Dolgo will win instead.. probably in 3 or 4.

Re: WWW Wimbledon R1: F. González v. A. Dolgopolov

Surely a match I'm looking forward to watch.
Dolgo doesn't seem to feel all too comfortable on grass, but Gonzo, coming back from a long injury layoff might well be very rusty... it's a toss up indeed.

My v-cash is on Dolgo, nevertheless.

I hope Gonzalez wins. Dolgopolov hasn't played too good recently so I give lot of chance for Chilean. Come on!!!

Never ever give up

Re: WWW Wimbledon R1: F. González v. A. Dolgopolov

I'll be disappointed for whoever loses, but Fernando must feel that his career is winding down. A few solid wins are just what he needs to keep him going.

Dolgo has years ahead of him.

I can easily see Fernando not being able to complete the match, but Dolgo is in pretty horrendous form right now himself. Could go either way, but I'll reluctantly say Dolgo in 4.

Filippo VOLANDRI, Pablo ANDUJAR, Yuki BHAMBRI, Fabio FOGNINI, Thomaz BELLUCCI,
Santiago GIRALDO, Donald YOUNG, Gael MONFILS, Juan Martin DEL POTRO, Alexandr DOLGOPOLOV
