Queens R1: Berrer def. Harrison 7-6(7) 2-6 7-5

Harrison holds serve all match long, only to get broken to love in the last game. Good experience for him I guess.

I love Michi, but this result disappoints me. Ryan did well in the first set to take it to a tiebreak, he was struggling in most of his serve games. In the final set he struggled to hold for 5-5 and I guess it was all too much at the end. In any case a good experience for him to play a good grass player, should help him for Wimbledon.

Ryan is my favorite player along with Delpo, but I think he is a huge loser. I knew he will lose this. He needs at least 2 years of experience from now on. Terrible performance so far.

Ryan has to improve mentally. It was one reason why he lost this match.

Never ever give up

Good for tennis when the guy who turns 31 this year beats the hard-working rookie?

Ryan had a reasonable draw. It was too bad that he couldn't really do enough with his return games. He has a bright future, maybe we are just expecting too much of him too early.

A lot of people are hyping Ryan and for good reason, but Berrer is a veteran, good on grass, and a tough guy, so this isn't some ridiculous loss. Gotta chill a bit on the expectations and remember Ryan is still a kid.
