RG R4: Söderling def. Simon 6-2 6-3 7-6 (5)

Toad did what was necessary, lets see if he can repeat 2009.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

RG R4: Soderling runs over Simon 6-2 6-3 7-6(5)

For the most part, Robin was hitting the ball well, but his serve wasn't that great. Simon was gifted a break back in the middle of the third set but it didn't make any difference in the end. For long periods of time the stadium was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
Very tight breaker but he pulled it out.

Bring on Nadal.

Gilles Just too passive today. A good run at RG none the less.

Robin Focus, dear.

Simon was INCREDIBLY defensive....even for him Soderling played to win, not to lose. Good for him.

Soderling was a monster for 2 1/2 sets. Then he got blisters on his racquet hand and it got a bit shaky for the remainder, though finally closed it out in the end.

Hopefully they heal up well and he can put on a show on Wednesday ^^

good fighting at the end by gilles..robin a little shaky trying to close things out

had to save 2 break points serving for the first set after not even being threatened on serve the whole time and then has 6-2 in the tiebreak and that slips to 6-5 before the end

Nadal should be scared. Soderling may have lost to him in last year's final, but Robin has been by far the better player so far in RG.

Rather spineless from Simon in front of his home crowd. Toad nearly blew the 3rd set. Now it's time to put Nadal out of his misery.

Yeah Gilles was way too passive but Robin played well apart from the end of that third set . Robin really didn't want to win the 3rd set, made some stupid errors while Simon kept the pressure on

Excited for the Soda-Nadal match

Last half an hour or so was pretty UGLY. Robin made it unnecessarily messy whilst Gilles is just so lightweight.

WD Soderling regardless.

WTF was up with Robin in the third set ? he was distroing Simon in the first 2 sets then he brainfarted. Good thing he took that match point.
