RG R4: Federer(3) d. Wawrinka(14) 6-3 6-2 7-5

Onto the quarter-finals to face either Monfils (9) or Ferrer (7). Federer won last 10 sets against Swiss number two and is 9-1 career.

Great serving again. The ace to end the match in a tight game reminded me of the good all days when Fed was doing it all the time.

Expected from Bendwinka. He never fooled me when he led 3-0 and 4-1 in the third. It was all show to make his tank look believable. I guess Olderer will give him his daily treat and walk in a park not to mention an autograph and the privilege to shake his hand after the match
