I see such viciously negative posts at the conclusion of nearly every match these days, I have to wonder how many of you are enjoying the sport right now. This is the French Open, one of our slams yet there have been so many complaints about each result. What do you want to happen?
Kei Nishikori, Donald Young, Somdev Devvarman, Dustin Brown, Steve Johnson, Yannick Maden
Robert Farah, Clement Reix, Alexander Dolgopolov, Nathan Thompson
I feel sad about certain beloved favourites who appear to be beyond their prime (but hell, I know they have been 'there' for over six years, so no prob! ), but fortunately there are very promising youngsters stepping it up, too.
So yes, I am enjoying this RG - why not?
Or do certain people only enjoy a tournament when their favourite(s) is/are winning?
I am enjoying it. Murray and Wozniacki are still there. Federer, Soderling, Ferrer and Montanes are still there. Nadal is looking very, very, very beatable. Seeds falling everywhere. It's great, the best RG for a while. The only downside is that Djokovic might get the no.1 spot afterwards.

Nowhere near as good as 09 once Soderking did his bit. You didn't know who was going to win it that year after that.
I think it's a really interesting start. Some cool upsets already will Almagro and Berdych falling. Melzer too even if that was somewhat expected. Some qualifiers putting up fights just to choke a bit later. Always entertaining. All in all it's been fun so far and from R3-> it will only get more fun and a great match with Delpo vs Djoko tomorrow already
Nadal looks horrible so you got to wonder what will happen with him. Will he crash and burn? will he find his game?
Djokovic in domination mode.
Soderling in RG beast mode.
Murray with a wide open draw. Can he take advantage?
Monfils, Gasquet and Tsonga showing that the french can still dream.
