RG R2: Simon (18) def. Chardy, 4-6 6-4 6-1 6-4

The match people forgot about it because it just ended

Chardy wasn't too bad compared to what he has been, but blew it when he got broken to love in the 2nd set to lose it. Fourth set was competitive, lots of breaks throughout the match.

I think Gilles will take out Mardy

9:37 p.m. - I think it's the latest finished match in the Roland Garros history

Fognini and Monfils finished last year just before 10 p.m. but their match was suspended.

Muggy affair, indeed.
Simon was complaining about the lack of light at the start of the 4rth set (and he was right about that), but after he broke Chardy, no complaints were heard anymore.
(btw, not being nasty, just something I noticed )

Congrats to Simon.

Congrats to Simon.
He was complaining when he was up a break aswell. The commentators said it would be better if he kept his mouth shut

Allez Gilles!

Gilles Simon
Dimitrov • Mahut • Paire • Hewitt • Raonic • Berdych • Gulbis • Murray

Thanks for the memories... Andy Roddick.

Ah, missed that (the livestream was ) - sounds like fair play!
Commentators were right on spot there.

Good. I'd rather see Gilles through.

This was painful to watch. This match was worse than watching a Uwe Boll film, that is how bad it was. Simon will not get far if he continues to play like that.
