RG R2: Soderling over Ramos 6-3 6-4 6-4

Soderling on complete cruise control. Apart from Ramos' first serve, Albert has nothing to hurt Robin with. One break per set was enough.

Last year's finalist! Moderate score in this one but more than enough.

Never ever give up

If the wind stays in Paris Robin won't go far this year maybe not even to 1/4. This was a routine win though but should have been finished 30 min earlier..

Ramos is ex-Ramos-Vinolas, right? What has he done to deserve right to get rid of his maiden name?

Solid from Soderling.

Re: RG R2: Soderling over Ramos 6-3 6-4 6-4

Troubled me a little to see Soderling not caring at all in many of Ramos service games. Robin was after all the golden bagel award winner of 2010. Maybe his new coach has told him to save up the energy and that he will save more energy by not bothering much with defense, just take a break when he has a opportunity and then focus on serving it out. Save energy so IF he reaches a third final he won't be spent this time

Also it was a bit windy today. 7 DFs is not good. On the other hand a positive winner to error ratio and strikes the ball as clean as ever.

Well Soderling goes through, expected really. Maybe a bit of a tougher test against Leo Mayer or Baghdatis but he should get through that as well

If Davydenko doesn't complete the roasting job then Robin will.

The weirdest one I think is Granollers.

He is still Marcel Granollers but his brother is Granollers-Pujol

For your information, all Spaniards officially have a 'double' name: their father's family name, and their mother's family name. Many of them decide to drop the second on later on, others keep it.

I know that

I just don't understand why 1 of them would keep it and the other one wouldn't.

It makes more sense if both keep it or both don't

Also, why are women forced to keep both?
