RG R2: Monfils def. Rufin 6-3 1-6 6-1 6-3

Typical Monfils match, had a phase where he didn't seem to care and was fooling around. Pulled himself out of it, and advances.

Average match, both had some nice shots, but nothing too special (apart from a 174 kph forehand by Monfils maybe). Rufin had 11 DF's, his serve needs a lot of work (46% 1st serve).

Monfils and Murray are the same; they often drop tank sets only to win the next one convincingly.

Boring match. Monfils was Monfils. Rufin was Rufin.

monfils won. this is the most important. i'd like to see a ferrer vs. monfils match in the 4th round

Grigor Dimitrov | Rafael Nadal | Juan Martin del Potro | Andy Murray

Could be very interesting as Ferrer has never beaten Monfils and the Frenchman beat the Spaniard at this event in 2008.

Rufin..

Rufin..

That sound like some kinda drug to anyone?

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Monfils launched a few 100mph+ FH and had some pretty nice game going on at times. I've said all the time I have him to take out Ferrer and no reason to change that.

Monfils career is defined by screwing around on court

Paradorn Srichaphan
Kei Nishikori, Donald Young, Somdev Devvarman, Dustin Brown, Steve Johnson, Yannick Maden
Robert Farah, Clement Reix, Alexander Dolgopolov, Nathan Thompson
