Can Kubot be this year's Melzer?

Similar game, doubles success for both, similar age, similar uhmm... hair...

Berlocq should be a bye, and then Flo Mayer will be tricky.

Umm, not happening. But he can be a good top 75 player.

Berlocq won't win a set with Łukasz.

Berlocq wins in 4 sets imo. Better player, bigger fighter.

Re: Can Kubot be this year's Melzer?

I guess it's gonna be another 5 setter against Berlocq and if he comes past him he'll go out against Mayer in round 3.

Federer |Söderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

Re: Can Kubot be this year's Melzer?

I think Q-bot will be more yesterday's Robert than last year's Melzer, so I expect both Robert and Q-bot lose in the second round.

Would be great But no chance... maybe he beat Berlocq then he loses sadly. And I'm really happy if he wins another match.

Never ever give up

Re: Can Kubot be this year's Melzer?

Nah, Melzer is more talented than Lukasz. Kubot is losing in R2 or 3.

Re: Can Kubot be this year's Melzer?

This is like the Golubev/Simon comparison, excpet a little better. Kubot has a nice comeback win today but I don't think it will add up to much.
