There are really few jokes like Pipo. Was leding 4-0 in the 3rd set, Clement was in the ropes. He really has himself to blame, like always.

Before the match I thought this was Clement’s last match. Now I think this should have been Volandri’s last match. What a joke.

I dislike them both, but in this case.

Dedicated to flyboy

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Arnaud

Epic 3rd set tiebreak Volandri had sooo many chances in 3rd set, leading 4-0 then having multiple SPs (especially this at 9-8 was )

Third set lasted almost an hour and a half, pretty expected given these two can play long matches (especially Clement)

Good win for Arnie...

With Clement you can expect everything, for me it's a mystery how such a short guy was involved so many times in dramatic matches during his career

Disappointing from Filo to lose this one, especially after the lead he had in the 3rd set. It all looked too easy at that time.

Especially Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini

Juan Martin Del Potro

Roger Federer

Thomas Berdych

Re: RG R1: Arno out-experiences Filo 6-3, 1-6, 7-6(9), 6-4

I love Arno, AJ. I'm not *too* disappointed, because really, Arno needed this more than Pippo at this stage in his career. Pippo really blew his opportunities in this match. He was dominant on serve in the first set, lost serve at 4-3. Dominating set three, had leads in the tiebreaker, lost it. Broke back in the 4th set after Arno had opportunities to take a double break lead, got broken again. Tons of missed chances today from Pippo.

But I give a lot of credit to Arno. He played inspired, he played aggressively, and he played with authority and with great heart throughout. He really dug down deep to take this win and you could see at the end how much it meant to him. Now he has a good opportunity for an R3, which would be a great performance for him. This could be his last RG so it's good he can finish it off with some good memories.
