RG R1: Berlocq def. Tomic 7-5 6-4 6-2

The Panther too solid for the clay clown.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Vamos Charly! A bit more of a struggle than expected in the first sets, but deliverd. Welcome 45 points. Now give Almagro a scare.

I'm happy if Bernard wasn't making fool out of him self on the court

Another WC wasted. Someone should give Bernard a good spanking on his rear and show him the doors of Qualifying.

I think I heard Berlocq's grunting out here in Amsterdam.

Tomic should try out basketball, cause pushing when you're 6'4 is not the way to success in tennis

Best part was Tomic took the court wearing a shiny garbage bag tracksuit.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: RG R1: Berlocq def. Tomic 7-5 6-4 6-2

I'm not surprised by the closeness of the first two sets. I expected a close match. Charly did what was required and did a very nice job with his serve, and keeping the error count low. Tomic needs to improve his serve to get to the next level. Playing an experienced clay grinder certainly isn't ideal for Bernard but the experience will certainly help him going forward.

I still don't understand why they gave this wildcard to Tomic. They should gave it to Harrison.

And Tomic will continue getting WCs to all the big tournaments... utterly disgusting and unfair

They should have given it to Munster instead of either of these mugs

Harrison isn't Australian. They have an agreement between the French, US and American federations.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
