Good for the sport this result.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Serra loses tight first set, Serra not interested in playing anymore.

Can't even imagine how horrible Serra must be.

Florent honestly should look into retirement if things don't change. Ridiculously bad at times. Igor played a nice match and hit the forehand well until the end, where he started choking a bit. But Serra has nothing in his game whatsoever to beat any decent player at this juncture. He can't move, he misses basic shots, his second serve is really awful and shaky. He's fallen off dramatically, maybe it's physical.

Serra had a break lead in the first, and had chances throughout the set to win it, but failed. And from there, it was over. Florent had a lead in the third but he was constantly in trouble on serve. He's out of the top 120 so he's headed back to challengers.

I would say Serra should retire for his fans, but he probably doesn't have any.

I'm a fan of his. I like(d) his feisty game and the way he was like a Davydenko/Baghdatis lite, I liked how he could play the pinball tennis style and also moved well. But now, he's a shadow on the court.
