Ferru looked good. Seemed to break Jarkko's spirit really, netting more balls as the match went on.

Good stuff from Ferrer. Should have a good run here.

Excellent work from Ferrer.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Ferrer played very well, aggressive, served well, came to the net and volleyed well. Basically controlled play with his consistency and offensiveness.

Anyone notice how Shark plays a lot more attacking now than before? He's right on the baseline looking to be aggressive at all costs. Clearly didn't really work out for him today. Third set was pretty much a tank.

He definitely can make a serious run. A relatively easy draw to the quarter's where a date with Federer probably awaits.

Good win for Ferrer. I would like to see him win the whole thing. I'm not surprised he won, but I am surprised at the score. Jarkko is better than that.

Ferrer is playing such solid tennis at the moment, that Jarkko was forced to try things he´s not really comfrotable with. Had to be over-aggressive, and it just didn´t pay off.
