Roland Garros FQR: Veic def. Bolelli 6-1 3-6 7-5

Veic came back from a break down in the 3rd to take this match. Bolelli might get in as a LL. Broken serving for the match at *5-3 and then had mps on Bolelli's serve.

Dedicated to flyboy.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Breaks Bolelli for the match when Bol lead 40-0.

Not much ability Veic, but fights very hard and a good bloke as well.

I wanted to make the thread

I'm not even upset. It's so predictable, that it's basically like, whatever. No surprise whatsoever. Simone double faulted to lose the match.

He was dominant on serve in the second and third sets and then completely fell apart. This match was 100% about Simone failing to handle the situation, and I knew it was trouble when he had two break points to take a *3-0 lead in the third set and didn't take it. Had he taken them, game over. It's just so sad to see him ruining his career.

Oh well, he's in the LL pool now and so we'll just have to wait and see if he gets one.

He had 40-0. But I thought he was going to dump serve that last game. Why does he lose to players like Veic and Millot? It's basically an embarrassment at this juncture. Guy really lacks heart.

Unbelievable... how is it possible that Superbol lost to a player like Veic, who has no weapons at all...

Dolgopolov Petzschner Paire

He's a fucking joke. It's hilarious, really. The progression of the match seemed extremely similar to the one v Vagnozzi, horrible first set, great last two sets. But he's just not confident. All of the talent in the world can't buy you confidence. Simone should have won this 6-2 6-1 but that's just now where he's at.

biggest joke ever, veic with 16/16 serving in first, then allmighty bolelli came back to have breakpoints to go up double break in the third, and all of the sudden the serve was not working at all

Bolelli just has no confidence, at his best he would eat Veic, but right now he doesnt even deserve to be an LL.

All Italian Players

Especially Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini

Juan Martin Del Potro

Roger Federer

Thomas Berdych

Fernando Verdasco

Surely the most handsome match of the RG quallies.

On a tennis side probably didn't have as much to offer. A pusher versus erratic forehand player with no return. I like Bolelli's game more when he's on, pity that these days he isn't.

Superbol plays Dancevic for a chance to play Muray in R2

If one considers only their qualifying form, Dancevic should win this one.

Sadly Dancevic most likely will win, but if Simone does win, he will have chances v Murray.
