Oh well, still showed some massive balls to get there in the first place.

Disappointing result for Ryan, but a great victory for the young Spaniard. Into his first ever GS MD!

Great result for Javi, he worked from the start of the year for this

HIC IACET ARTHURUS REX QUONDAM REXQUE FUTURUS — "Here lies Arthur, the once and future king."

Well done Javi.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Ryan should be a Lucky Loser, correct? When are they chosen?

Ryan will have an opportunity for a LL so obviously, it would be nice if he gets one and can make up for this loss. He will be in a LL pool with 5 other players that are randomly selected.
