How not to play break points. Could have easily been 6-1 6-2 or even 6-1 6-0 had he not made lame unforced errors at big stages in the match. Just made things hard for himself in the 2nd as Gulbis was *4-2 up and had quite a few game points but in the end just stepped it up and finally converted on a few break points and ended it.
Form as a whole was good though and Gulbis didn't play that bad to be honest, played some stunning points but still no where near where he should be.
Could only watch bits and pieces of this match. The first set looked like a very easy job for Tomas, unfortunately in the second he started clowning away, even handing Gulbis a break. Once Tomas had managed to repear the break, the outcome was N.I.D.
