He fell at 6-2 *1-0 Hanescu serving, went over on his ankle, got a chair brought out to him and had ankle heavily strapped on the spot. Didn't look to be in too much pain. Actually for the next few points he moved fine, and won a few points smacking the ball as hard as he could. Went *0-2 15-40 then retired. Don't think he's in danger of missing the french, was just taking a beating and it would have been fairly pointless to risk it.
