Great fight Ryan.

He plays Marti in QR3, another 19-year-old.

Very good for tennis. Go Ryan. It was another heroic fight, more than 2:30 hours. I expect him to make it to the main draw.

Nice. Guy has a ton of heart and knows when to buckle down and get serious. Wasn't broken in the match. Would be a great accomplishment to qualify.

Very good win. The match against Marti is very winnable too. An American qualifying for Roland Garros is pretty rare, so this would be great for his confidence. He's got a good career ahead of him and he's started it pretty well.

If he makes it to the main draw, and then win that 1st round ( not much chance) then he finds himself in top 100.

Ryan

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."
