Playing same two opponents, 1st & 2nd round for consecutive weeks?

In Bastad futures this week, Daniel Smeturst has played Phillip Orno in the 1st round and Sami Reinwein in the 2nd round, the exact same draw he had last week in the exact same location. Has this ever happened before? Playing the same 1st and 2nd round matches exactly the same as the previous week? Also has it ever happened in the same location? Surely not. Eerie stuff!

You can edit the title. On the main page click just besides the name of the thread a few times and it should give you the option to edit it.

As for this, crazy! Would be amazed if it has happened before.

Maybe the organisers and players forgot they'd already played that series, time warped and came back up right where they started a week ago. It's the Dark Dimension, I tell you

"When I'm asked, how is it to be around Federer, and what is he really like, I always reply, "I wish people could meet him when cameras or an audience aren't around, as he is one of the nicest people I have ever met when stringing on tour. " -- drakulie
