What's up with Filip Krajinovic

Is he still injured? Recovering

His unofficial web site says he is enlisted for Wimby qualifiers...

Yay! Would love to see him at Wimbledon Qualifying Great player and great personality with a bright future assuming he stays injury free.

Re: What's up with Filip Krajinovic

His results have taken a nasty downwards spiral since his awesome middle of last year. His last start was a 4-6 1-6 1-6 loss in the first round of a Italian futures.

I admit his results leave a lot to be desired. But an ATP250 semi-final (as lucky as it was) is something compared to where most 19 year olds are nowadays.

It was indeed very lucky m8, I watched it!!

This season we had only 2 ATP 1/4's of players born in 1991 or after (Andrey Kuznetsov and Grigor Dimitrov)

As lucky as he was he really did play an amazing set vs Djokovic last year.

Re: What's up with Filip Krajinovic

I think it was very nice fix (StatRacket done nice article about biggest surprises last year in terms of bet quotes) cause Novak can beat him with left hand and left leg

Filip is very talented and have nice shots but that will not bring him anything without hard work

Cheers, it was the 4th biggest upset of the year according to the bookies.

Re: What's up with Filip Krajinovic

Too much hype players develop at their own speeds. Seems like a lot of people are looking for the next bandwagon.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Don't know why, but I did the table in reserve order (perhaps to build suspense in my original article). That Nadal upset was the biggest of 2010 according to my data.

Re: What's up with Filip Krajinovic

He doesn't strike me as a player who will even get to the top 100.

Re: What's up with Filip Krajinovic

He's talented for sure...and has a great personality...but he's really weak physically, he looks like an 15 year old...if he somehow menages to improve on that he can be a great player.

Re: What's up with Filip Krajinovic

Seems pretty enthusiastic from what I've seen of him. Which isn't much to be honest.. might have to wait till he's around 21 for a breakthrough.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.
