Re: ''Too good Alessio, too good''

The GOAT won a Futures tournament in Italy without dropping a set. At the age of 36 he is still pummeling opponents twice as young into submission with his saliva inducing forehands. He started the year outside of the top 400 and will most probably finish inside the top 250, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see him return in the top 100 next year. Obviously after winning the ATP 'Most improved player' award this year.

Re: ''Too good Alessio, too good''

Fantastic Alessio, he'll be a regular on the main tour in 2014.
In this great video posted by GK he gives insights on economics, the world of tennis in general and the mental aspect of his game which has always been his greatest strenght togheter with his killer FH.
He also recalls how he faced the big names like Agassi, Coria*, Sampras, Stepanek and how he used to beat them regularly.
The two girls you can see behind came togheter with the trophy as reward for Alessio.

*9/2006 ATP Acapulco (MEX) Clay Alessio di Mauro Guillermo Coria 6-2 6-4 First

Re: ''Too good Alessio, too good''

Alessio used to date Jessica Alba back in 2006, but they decided to break it off after Christmas to focus on their careers. This immediately proved to be a wise decision as Alessio reached a career high ranking of #68 after his first ATP final in 2007, more importantly becoming the only player in history to beat and lose to The Warlocq in the same tournament. Jessica went on to star in unforgettable classics like 'The Love Guru', 'Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer' and 'Good Luck Chuck'.

Re: ''Too good Alessio, too good''

Can someone explain Alessio's trimmed down schedule this year of one tournament per month to me?

he's going to retire at the end of this season http://www.ubitennis.com/sport/tenni...ine_2014.shtml

the reduced schedule is also due to the fact that there's project on him at Hollywood involving Di Caprio, the actor has read the script for a movie about Alessio's life and our hero is now in the states to work as a consultant for the scenes shoot on court.
