What does everyone take out of the Miami event so far?

Today, and the Miami masters 2011, obviously has been crazy so far. Blake actually winning a close match, Soderling barely winning, Raonic out, Verdasco inexplicably losing, Murray not giving a damn, clay courters having great runs. But you know what all this tells me? It's not that Miami is a joke tournament:

It's that the top 3 are WAY above the rest of the field in class.

Nothing more, nothing less people. However, I'm curious. What do you all take out of the results so far in Miami?

Slowest hard court surface on tour, with particularly heavy conditions making it especially slow this year >>>> upsets.

No coverage until Saturday in a Masters 1000 is the biggest joke I've ever seen
Every year the same shit

Federer |Söderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

A HUGE disappointment so far. Mainly because of the bad performances by the youngsters.

That some players really love Monte Carlo and can't wait to be there

Even worse than IW???

If it's so slow, how come Nadal has never won it?

Ritchie has yet to play against the guy who kicked out Ljubicic. I'm feeling uneasy right now

I'm loving it.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

The Miami surface is rated a notch slower than IW on the ITF surface ranking.

Wrt Nadal, it's all about the bounce more than the speed. He's done OK here, beat Fed in 2004 afterall when he was about 12, but just seems to struggle against the top guys every year rather than winning it.
