Who Will Beat Novak Djokovic First?

Forget about the calender Grand Slam, he's got that one in the bag after crushing the so called number 1. Can he pull this achievement off, become a living legend and fulfill his destiny? McEnroe was closest to doing this in '84, only losing three times, but Novak is already 18-0, and no one has even come close to beating him so far this year.

Fuck yes!

Only lost 4 sets so far as well, 3 of them to top 10 players.

Re: Will Djokovic go undefeated in 2011?

0_o is this another joke thread? He will have a high Win Loss record, but that doesn't mean he'll remain undefeated.

Terrible thread.

it's a bit of a long shot, but from what we've seen so far, i would say it's plausible

he will be bit, chslapped by nadal on clay, federer on grass, and both of them on hard court as soon as they find their game again
today was the last time you saw nole winning something important in 2011! he might win the canadian or the paris masters, but nothing more

Re: Will Djokovic go undefeated in 2011?

It's possible, all he has to do is win Miami (and he will) and since he'll be seeded number 2 for most of the clay tournaments, as soon as he meets Rafa he should withdraw. On the grass he should skip Queens and withdraw when he either plays Nadal, Federer, Murray, Roddick or Berdych at Wimbledon. After that it's back on the hard courts and he'll own.

It will improve his chances if he skips Monte Carlo.

No, but the way he's headed, he's going to have below 10 for sure, and have the best overall season since Roger's dominant years. Especially if he schedules smart.

Re: Will Djokovic go undefeated in 2011?

I think the better question at this point is how many sets he will lose on way to his undefeated season.

He can get selfinjured, skip the rest of the season and stay undefeated.
