Head 2 Head YTD

Looking at the Bath Challenger qualifying draw and noticed that Chris Eaton faced off again to Ervin Eleskovic. This makes that the 3rd time in 12 weeks that these two have faced off with Eleskovic leading the H2H YTD 2-1. Can anyone else think of any others who have faced off 3 times this year or more? The only one i can think off the top of my head is Djokovic vs. Federer. Djokovic leads 3-0

Re: Head 2 Head YTD

Also I think it's more bizzare that Eaton & Eleskovic have faced 3 times already as it is pure luck of the draw (Two R16's and 2nd round qualy match) as opposed to Djokovic & Federer facing off due to their skill and success (2 SF's and a Final)

Not this year, but there was a famous case of Mathieu-Cilic, who played six times in a season, IIRC 4 of them consecutively. Never met since then and it's been 3 years

Re: Head 2 Head YTD

Kenny de Schepper beat Mathieu Rodrigues three times in the period of one month earlier this year on the futures and challengers tour. The one month interval was January 12th through February 11th, talk about an unlucky start to the year.
