Owners of the last 24 GS titles plays SF in IW

So far we saw mostly boring tennis in IW but SFs looks promising.
Last time 4 GS champions played SF of IW was 16 years ago in 1995 with Sampras, Edberg, Becker and Agassi.

Might even be the same ones who complained that Raonic was another Karlovic and we didn't need another Karlovic in tennis.

But, back to the OOP -- that is a very interesting stat! Although the lion's share of the titles belong to Federer. The rest put together don't have as many as Federer.

Isn't it 12 for the three of them and 16 for Federer? And isn't that 28?

Arithmetic has never been my strong point.

Not a surprise. Along with Murray (when he wants), they are a class above the rest of the field at their best. Great SF lineup!

The first of the 24 most recent grand slams is the 2005 French Open. Federer won the first four of his current() total of 16 slams prior to the 2005 French Open. So 12 to Federer, 9 to Nadal, 2 to Djokivic and 1 to Del Potro over the last 24 slams.

Not only this number 24 last GS, since Marat won 2005 in Melbourne those 4 only won, but not only are their last 4 winners, but they are for sure 4 best players- maybe now in top 5, and for last year top 5 were also Murray and Sodelring but next year about that time i think those 4 would be level beyond others. Roger still i think has 1-2 years at top so no problem that he will make more points and win more than Murray or Sodeling and those 3 definetely can win every GS - they can beat each other.

I assume he means in terms of level of play at their best, so a case could be made if you think modern tennis is generally superior to what came before, and if you think Del Potro > Murray.

14.

Glad to have these folks in the semis but let's not exaggerate.

Last 24 GS starts with Nadals winning RG in 2005. So Safin not included.
