IW R3: [21]Home boy Querrey def. [9]Verdasco 7-5 6-4

So many FH UEs from Verdasco I lost count, but I think there were > 20 (FH UEs alone)

BH UEs aplenty too

Querrey played pretty good, apart from nearly choking serving for it

IW R3 Querrey the homeboy def Verdasco 7-5 6-4

Well... Querrey in his homeland it's more dangerous than Verdasco IMO.

So I understand the scoreline, so many people would say he would easily lose to him...
No.

Fernando is incapable of winning a match when he has an easy draw in front of him. Lucky for him that Rycka was injured or he would've lost his first match.

No. Querrey and "real tennis" NEVER go together.

Fiasco, what a clown of a player.

Dominated the match up to 5-5 in the first set. Then collapsed. Major mug.

It's a master series, not a slam.

Everyone fits the definition of mug through your narrow standards.

Go stick to your old one dimensional tennis

Re: IW R3: [21]Home boy Querrey def. [9]Slumpdasco 7-5 6-4

I don't have much to say, other than nice to see his slump is continuing The worst thing is that this loss doesn't exactly come as a surprise. He's just THAT bad lately, losing to Querrey of all people!

DELPO

Also supporting known chokers Verdasco, Lopez and Monaco

Man, too bad there's no consolation bracket, Murray v Verdasco could be a good match.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.
