Indian Wells R2: Bellucci def. Becker 6-3 7-6(5)

Very similar to Isner-Mello match. Bellucci got an early break and closed out the set, 6-3. In the second set both players held very easily. Tiebreak was competitive, though. Bellucci got the minibreak at 4-4, then gave it back but played agressive point on Becker's serve at 6-5 and takes the match on his first match point. Good win for Bellucci.

Becker now has a 39/99 career tiebreak record at atp main draw level. Drops him ahead of Cilic, Seppi and Chela as worst tiebreaker in the top 100.

Doublefaulted in today's one again.

Maybe that was the reason Thomaz won the TB.

Nice to see him win a match at HC masters.

Interesting match against Berdych now, last time they played the match was very tight.

Solid match after the first game by Bellucci and expected win.

Yay, Bellucci!!!
Easier win than I thought, well done.
I think his bad form is past already.

Bellucci played very good and Becker helped Bellucci in the more importants moments of the match with double faults.

Now Bellucci will play with Berdych and probably will be a great match where Bellucci have chances to win.

Only to remenber Bellucci won of Berdych on Challenger and last year Bellucci lost to Berdych on tie-break of third set.

I'm a bit surprised by the result but Bellucci played a very good match and served very well. He was aggressive and dominated most rallies. I can see Bellucci threatening Berdych if he continues this level.
