We should be appreciative of Federer though, because we will never see anything like him again. The fact he can still compete for slams ever after the erosion of his physical skills is really a greater testament to the natural talent he has than the period of time when he was dominating the tour.
That will be the last victory of Rafa for quite some time.. With his joke mentality and pathetic game, I hope the disgusting player loses every single match next season. He's disgraceful. He should just retire. He's a joke.
Soderling reacts in a different way this week than in the previous one. I think he knew in Rotterdam that everything would be possible, so many good players were there, in Marseille he doesn't play his best tennis to win the tournament, he's a huge favorite from the beginning and all depends on keeping the level at 70% of his abilities.

Tursunov tried to exploit the same tactics that won him a Melzer match but Soderling was hitting the ball much better than the Austrian. The second set was just a formality as it was obvious Mitya had no asnwer to Robin' serve.
Nevertheless, an excellent tournament for Mitya.
The quality of play in that first set was really impressive. Soderling is in awesome form at the moment (as if it needs saying again)! Soderling hit some impressive forehand down the line winners as he often does, and Tursunov had some angles for winners off of both wings that were vintage Tursunov. You hate to see Tursunov fold in the second set in the manner that he did, but I agree 100% with Sonja that Tursunov is not far from being back in the top 50.
