Said it yesterday, Roddick might be shit but he's good enough to beat the current Hewitt. Hewitt is now the bitch in the H2H. :retard:

Re: Memphis QF: A.Roddick def. L.Hewitt 4-6 6-3 6-4

Some horrible commentating going on in this match. The kept rambling over how Roddick stepped up after the first set. He did play a little bit more aggresivly for a couple of games, but changed it back soon enough. What turned it around was Hewitts serve dropping below 50%, and making 2-3 UE every game! I don't think I have ever seen Hewitt making so many unforced errors in neutral rallies. Missed alot volleys too.

Btw, I don't think the umpire made a single overrule in a match with a boatload of close/wrong calls. I don't it favoured anyone by much, but still...

Both players played well???

You can't be serious.

Roddick had no weapons and relied on his pushing throughout the entire match. Hewitt wasn't making errors until the 2nd set when Hewitt's serve completely failed him. Roddick was passive throughout 90% of the match though he picked it up more late in the 3rd set once he had the break in hand.

Nothing shits me more than Roddick beating one of my faves.

Oh well.

Hewitt got screwed on deuce when Roddick's 2nd serve which was clearly out, had no call from the Roddick-loving umpire and line judge. The American pushing gladiator was credited with an ace on what should have been a double fault. Roddick made no mistake with the next serve as it was non-returnable for the Australian battle legend, clinching the deciding set for the #1 seed from Austin, Texas.

Yeah, because of that call (which could have turned the match), I changed my reply from "not favouring" anyone, to "not faouring anyone by much."

Yeah, I think both players played well for a QF of 500 tour.(enough to entertain fans) This is not a slam to fight and give all what u have

It's a pity Hewitt didn't save these 4 match points at 4:5 instead of 3:5, would have been interestingly at the end. Roddick was lucky to hit the line with powerful 2nd serve after wasting the 6th match point

I must have seen another match cos I thought neither player played well. Roddick looked passive and disinterested in the first set while Hewitt just started making bizarre errors from the second set onwards.

Incredibly dull match from two former number ones. Hewitt's volleying was shithouse.

Hewitt's play at the net was downright atrocious. Both players played poorly, imo.
