Roger is not ambidextrous so this question is stupid.

There are no words to express how I feel about this post. Only this:

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

It's much prettier than the boring, bland, standard font.

Discuss.
He wouldn't be anywhere near as effective as a lefty.

If Fed were a left-hander, Roddick would have had about 5 GS titles right now.

Re: Would Federer be as successful as a left-hander?

are you serious? Fed, unlike nadal, isnt dependent on insane topspin to backhands of one handers.

If fed was left handed (and left hand WAS HIS REAL first hand) he would probably be even more dominant. His insane forehand wud be going out towards peoples backhands, and feds backhand holds up against almost everyone except nadal (talking prime here).

Re: Would Federer be as successful as a left-hander?

As a general rule, its better to be lefthanded in tennis. As a lefty kid, you grow up playing a lot of right handers, whereas right handers don't have as much experience going up against lefties. There are also service benefits.

Federer would have been scary if he had been a lefty.

exactly. fed would not have his losing record vs nadal, and moreso, fed would have dominated even more so. 20+ slams are not out of reach for him.

Re: Would Federer be as successful as a left-hander?

More players could hurt Rogie's week backhand if he was lefty... also, his slice would go to opponent's forehand and be less effective.

What if Olderer were a lefty and had 2HBH? Would he win more slams then?
