he certainly blew it from being set point up - routine backhand metres long and then goodnight West Coast.

Awful tie-break, Monfils was less concentrated than against Saqmpras in their exho-match

Shame for Tim as the second set was his. He is improving a lot though, good to see

I would say that Monfils play nothing,, and his opponent play totally nothing. I don´t know how he want to play Raonic, he will destroy him. Monfils in form is good player, but most of the time Monfils is just average with some slides and funny rallies, but nothing great overall- and this tournament is exactly that- not in form so really Raonic has big chance take him down.

Smyczek reminded me of Russell. Similar playing style and similar choking abilities.

LIKE: Stepanek, Youzhny, Stakhovsky, Raonic, Pouille || HATE: Nadal, Almagro, Monfils, Troicki, Simon, Tipsarevic

MTF always with a flair for gross exaggeration, gotta love it.
Choking one backhand and missing a volley, man that's just Ancic-Minar level right there

Well it was hardly a major choke and it was just to level the match, but he definitely tossed his cookies a bit there.

He did miss som big chances, but he also saved 7/8 breakpoints. Including a 040. And on his second set point, Monfils made a great pass that just caught the line.

Great touch at the net, good strokes and lightening quick. A little more power, (especially on the serve) and this guy would be a beast. Impressed me in this tournament.

Tim is underrated here. First time I saw him playing and he really impressed, no major weakness in his game. Should see him in top 50 in 2 years if he keeps getting better.

Mardy Fish!

Brian Baker - Steve Johnson - Lleyton Hewitt - Carlos Berlocq - Tommy Haas - Ivo Karlovic - Richard Gasquet - Kevin Anderson - David Ferrer - Michael Russell - Fabio Fognini - Dustin Brown - Somdev Devvarman
