How do you guys think Nadal would do in green clay?

Let's say if the USO was played in green clay nowadays, do you think he would do better than in the current hard court? About the same? Or worse?

Re: How do you guys think Nadal would do in green clay?

i thought green clay plays like a hard court with better sliding potential

in which case rafa probably dominates

its movement on a hard court that punishes him most

yeah the wimbledon results from 07-10 are probably accurate- maybe even better because grass has a low bounce

God is Love. To know Love is to know God. So ask yourself if you hold any hate for another in your heart how can you have room for Love, room for God

Irrelevant, the better question is how would be perform on fast low indoor bouncing carpet.

He wins on any clay, next.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Nadal finds it easier to move on natural surfaces. Domination would be expected...

Re: How do you guys think Nadal would do in green clay?

He's never played a match on green clay? I played on that the other day because my friend told me he knew of a clay court. I assumed it was red.

Is green "natural?" What is it?

I think only once has an ATP-level tournament been played on green clay in recent times, Houston 2007. Ivo Karlovic won that tournament.

It has been an ATP 250 tournament for a few years now I think (since 2009)
I believe Chela won last year?

Why not 2006 when he made the Wimbledon final? Nadal would play great on green clay I think.
