Verdy just too good here.

first serv % was pretty low though...

I watched the entire match and Verdasco was just flawless. Almost every point was a forehand winner DTL... and about his serve; he served quite well today 8 aces... maybe percentage is a bit low but I really didn't pay attention to that because as you can see Ram won only 7 points on his serve...

He should have won this match just by looking at his opponent, and I'm glad he did. Firstly, this is Ram, secondly, this is RAM! lol.. what I mean is that even a Nando playing at 50 % of his level should beat someone like Ram. Hopefully this will give him some confidence going into the other matches!

That is Verdasco's trademark. He really does have a strong forehand. The forehand DTL is just
