New service motion of James Blake?

Looking at some of his service points during his San Jose match vs. Levine, I noticed that he served in a different way, using a motion a little bit like Andre Agassi. Is it only my impression?

Yes, it's a bit different. He's bending his back a bit more and using a little more leg, also bringing the racquet up a little bit in the ready position, and bending his arm a little bit more. He hit a serve at 137 so the technical changes seem to have helped.

How is his forehand looking? Still potentially lethal?

Re: New service motion of James Blake?

Still lethal. Still extremely pacey and flat, but he's hitting it with more spin and control in rallies at times now. He can hit some amazing angles with his FH but he gets too caught up in trying to hit everything hard too often. He hit some amazing FH returns. It's all about the footwork with James. When he's in the right position and the ball is in his strikezone, he can crack the FH as well as ever.
