This is a huge head scratcher How is it possible for a 20 year old to already be in decline Apparently his ex coach, McNamara quit primarily because he was so frustrated with Grisha's lackadaisical attitude and how easily he accepts defeat as "just one of those days..." Any coach who truly believed that Grisha was the second coming of JesusFed would not have quit that easily. The guy has the gift, but he just doesn't know what to do with it. He's playing like a someone who's just realised that they are in fact a clone of somebody else. Doesn't seem to know how to take matters into his own hands. He needs to express himself a bit more, even if some shots don't come off Federer-esque. There's still hope...

You need to get to the 3rd round of a slam once in your lifetime before you can be the future!

He's taking his time but he's definitely on the right track. Most importantly, he's the type of player that crowds around the world can get behind. He has an exciting, stylish game, good looks and lots of charisma. Tennis needs someone like him.

this.
but he has to work on his fitness. every time he faces a top player, he starts cramping. sometimes he cramps even when not facing a top player.
gotta put hours in the gym. shagging lasses won't turn him into a top 5 player.

Re: Grigor Dimitrov is the future.

It's pretty normal to get tired and start cramping if you haven't taken anything. The problem is that best of 5 is outdated and not meant for these slow courts and long rallies. It will make it difficult for clean players like Dimitrov to ever succeed in Slams.

Re: Grigor Dimitrov is the future.

Seriously, someone thought he could win a masters in 2011?
