AO R4: Dolgopolov surprises Soderling (4) 1-6 6-3 6-1 4-6 6-2

Dolgopolov's biggest career win. He broke Soderling 9 times! Plays Murray or Melzer in the quarter-finals.

Amazing. Feel bad for Robin but Dogy has a very good future

Unbelievable. Baby GOAT level play from Dolgo. Made Sod look like an amateur.

Re: AO11 R4: Dolgopolov def. Soderling 1-6 6-3 6-1 4-6 6-2

This is hands down the most confusing and utterly brain cramp inducing performance by Soderling I've seen, ever. Words just cannot express the bizarre phases of this match on his part. Firstly, he starts missing big time on the forehand for the 2nd & 3rd sets then that utterly baffeling powder puff serve that he employed for large parts of the last two sets. :/

On the other hand, Dolgopolov has shown his full arsenal and it's just scintillating to watch. So talented. Scary to think about his future if he continues to improve and manages to produce the consistent results he needs over the year to be a top player. This has been one hell of a break through tournament for him and it's refreshing for tennis -- you can't help but feel excited for his prospects.

Brilliant stuff from Aleks, at times he was incredible today

Robin was definitely struggling with something, but that shouldn't detract from Dolgo's achievement here.

Yeah. Five sets doesn't exactly make Soderling look like an amateur.

But for your grasp of MTF speak.
