10 games? Tomic should've won the second set easily.

Rafa was lucky he was playing a teenager. Awful.

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Cilic really does have a realistic chance of beating Rafa

Tomic went for his shots much more than what I saw of his game against Chardy, much better.

Good training for Rafa, Cilic might be hard, if he is not too tired from today's match.

Tomic hit a lot of very good shots.
I was a little bit surprised.

Horrible performance from Nadal. I expect his odds will drop siginficantly from this.

Re: Australian open R3: Nadal def. Tomic 6-2 7-5 6-3

Tomic played well but he was made to look way better than he was. The number of short groundstrokes from Nadal was very poor. Federer, Murray, Soderling, maybe Djokovic would've crushed him today.

Its unreal how he always plays like this in the early rounds though.

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Re: Australian open R3: Nadal def. Tomic 6-2 7-5 6-3

Bernard . Gave it his all but didn't quite have the maturity in his game tonight, Bit more maturity he would of taken the second set but to put himself in that position leading two breaks against the World Number one is a dream spot to be in and Tomic will kick himself for a while because he knows he undid himself and not his opponent, The thing I like about Tomic is he stayed competitive the whole game and alot of players who play Nadal fade very quickly but moving Nadal around the court is also a very hard thing to do and he commanded most of the second set but just mental errors or pushing a shot really was the end result.

Re: Australian open R3: Nadal def. Tomic 6-2 7-5 6-3

I was almost right in my prediction! I said it would be three tight sets. I said it would be 6-4, 7-5, 6-4. lol.

Rafa played like crap today though. He needs to step it up if he wants to win against Cilic.

Credit to Tomic too. He was very good today. I think this player has a lot of potential

Maybe Cilic will be too tired.

Cilic is a marathon man.

Remember last year, when he had a few long and tough matches and he went to the semis?

Fightness might not be the deciding factor, he is usually very fit.
