Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

Thanks for that, I think all them could of been still playing, all are prob in their early 30's now. Ancic is younger.

Re: What ever happened to?

Grosjean officially retired recently. Voo made a very nice tribute thread for him. I'll try and see if I can find the link.

The Ancic case seems really unfortunate. The poor guy seemed to be a great talent but perpetually plagued by injury. If only he were not beset by so many problems, I am sure he would have been seen as a real threat to the top players at the bigger tournaments.

Re: What ever happened to?

Nothing lasts forever. These players were greart in their times. Aesthetic players, but their time has come. Holding onto the past with an iron clad grip is a self written sentence to misery.
