Aussie Open Rd. 1: Monfils rallies past De Bakker 6-7, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2, 6-1.

Gael comes back from two sets and 5-2 down

Huge choke by De Bakker in that third set and he didn't seem to care in the last two sets

Tim Henman--Gael Monfils--James Blake--Donald Young--Rafael Nadal--Jo-Wilfried Tsonga--John Isner--Janko Tipsarevic--Richard Gasquet.

Re: Monfils def. De Bakker 6-7 2-6 7-5 6-2 6-1

Poor De Bakker.. that was awful to watch.. should have taken his chance when he served for the match

Congrats Gael - first time coming back from 2-0 down.

This is me right now:

Thiemo had the choke of the year, I doubt anyone will surpass him in a GS :retard:

You gotta be REALLY special to choke against a guy who was 0-10 being 0-2 down in a Grand Slam

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

That was far too severe to be a choke. That was a full-blown meltdown.

That match was a complete circus.

By the way, will someome PLEASE make a highlights reel with all the drop-shots? That was beautiful, they had like a 5-46 stat in dropshots between them. Pure tennis artistry

Classic stuff from De Bakker. The 5th set was laughable

Wow, what a gargantuan, Brobdingnagian, monumental, enormous, immense, gigantic, colossal, tremendous, mammoth, titanic, elephantine choke from De Bakker.

Just pathetic, really.

Excellent idea and send it to ALL the tennis academies in the world, to show their students how NOT to hit a dropshot

Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer

I was pretty sure he was going to choke it.

I actually think Bernard Tomic will easily win career-year mixed doubles slam in 2020.

Jealous? Yeah, you are, you dirty hater.

What a monumental collapse...somehow I still thought the fifth set would be more interesting, but de Bakker simply didn't care by then
