Re: Lucky Losers

If Kavcic loses his QR3 match, he'll be LL and will get in the MD, if a player from the MD withdraws. If Kavcic wins his QR3 and Grigor Dimitrov loses his QR3 and a player from MD withdraws, Grisha replaces.

No.2 seeded in qualifications Simone Bolleli lost in QR2, so he can't be a LL

Grigor Dimitrov | Rafael Nadal | Juan Martin del Potro | Andy Murray

Re: Lucky Losers

In Grand Slam events, one of the four highest ranked losers in the final qualifying round is randomly picked as the lucky loser.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_tennis#L

Highest seededs that didn't pass the qualies yet are:

(1) Blaz Kavcic (vs G. Jones)
(3) Grigor Dimitrov (vs Schoorel)
(12) Stephane Robert (vs Reynolds)
(15) Donald Young (vs Van der Merwe)
(17) Simon greul (lost to Gremelmayr)
(20) Jaroslav Pospisil (lost to Muller)
(26) Milos Raonic (vs A. Martin)

Re: Lucky Losers

yes, it's been by a draw for a few years to avoid tanking in R3 qualies when players are sure of a LL spot

Hahahaha, well said.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1
