Poll: Do you think we have/will ever see peak Tipsaravic?

I re watched the 08 AO 3rd round with Tipsarabitch and Federer, man this guy had some talent.

Do you think we ever saw the best of him?

He dumped Roddick out of Wimbledon but that was no suprise as he only seems to do well in odd years.

But seriously, this guy was a giant killer on his day. Kind of like Dankovic but much more talented naturally. I feel Tipsaravic should have made a grand slam semi by now.

Tipsarabitch has a great all round game, good fitness, what is missing? He never quite made it into that top echelon.

Is it a lack of belief? I see in him what I saw in a young Xavier Mallisse, yet Mallise did make that semi final.

To me Tipsabitch is a bit like Stanislass Wawrinka, execpt Wawrinka has come into his own a bit in recent times. But Tipsy is still stuck in 2nd gear.

Do you think its too late for him now? Or does he have some scalps we still havent seen yet?

It's never too late for somebody with Janko's age right now.Just look at Melzer! He peaked in 2010 and has reached his full potential finaly after too many years. After all, reaching your full potential later is always better than never.

I think Tipsy will be like melzer case.He is yet to peak.

I suspect the match he will be remembered for - if any - is that A.O. 3rd-rounder against Fed. To be oxymoronic, he's basically an ultra-talented journeyman. Ultra-talented for a journeyman that is, rather than ultra-talented in the Federer/Rios sense.
