Good stuff from Mugro - in the past he would fold like a cheap tent in a hurricane after that 2nd set tiebreak loss. Like he said postmatch, not his best tennis, but good match mentally.

Re: Auckland QF: Almagro def. Mannarino 7-6(3) 6-7(1) 6-2

Almagro wasn´t playing his best tennis but good for his psychic and mental strenght. I expected problems for him because Mannarino is left-hander and always when left-hander play against player with one-handed backhand it is difficult for opoonent. Many times he just return into net really easy balls, Yeas Mannarino played with some left-handed slice but still he is 14th in the world, he should destroyed guys like Mannarino 6:2 6:2 and that 2nd Tie-break wass horrible from his side and he quickly recovered.

Pathetic from Mannarino. He was a break ahead the whole first set.

Adrian

Good little run for him though, he will reach a career high now I think, and hopefully he will win his first round AO match

A-Man was up 5-3 serving for set 1. He could be a good player if he works on that rally backhand which is a bit dodgy sometimes. He should be proud of his week though.

Nico. I hope he takes the title. Anyone but Ferrer please.

Looks like Adrian´s French roots started to kick in after 7 games. From 5-2 0-30 to lose the set, ffs

I was hoping he could avoid this, but it looks like all the French players are simply born with either a choking gene, a mug gene or both.

Almagro is a very solid player actually. I'd put him ahead of Lopez right now, because Lopez is not playing that well. Almagro seems to be getting better on hard too.

DELPO

Also supporting known chokers Verdasco, Lopez and Monaco

They let him play tennis once after they saw his "consistency is everything" advertisement.

Almagro 40-54 on hard 0 titles, Lopez 134-134 2 titles. Right now could end as soon as first round of AO

Almugro is one of the worst players I've ever seen pick up a racket.

Just disgraceful.
